From mid-October, Tailwind Shipping Lines' Dolphin Express Service (DEX) will shift to an intra-European short-sea service with an expanded port rotation. The Moerdijk–Barcelona route will be extended to include Antwerp (Belgium), Setúbal (Portugal), Cádiz (Spain), and Casablanca (Morocco). The service will operate on a 21-day rotation with weekly departures from northern Europe. On the return leg from Barcelona, vessels will continue to sail directly to Moerdijk.

Fleet deployment
Three 1,380 TEU container vessels already in the Tailwind fleet will be deployed on the revised DEX service. The Panda 004 and Panda 005 are currently operating on the existing route, while the Panda 003, recently on subcharter, will rejoin the fleet with the service expansion.
Service rationale
According to the company, the updated service is designed to improve the flow of goods across Europe. Tailwind noted that shipping offers lower emissions per container compared with conventional truck transport. The expanded DEX will also provide additional port coverage in Western Europe and North Africa, available for both Lidl and external customers.
Hinterland connections
The Moerdijk terminal will continue to serve as the northern gateway, with barge links to Duisburg offered through WEC Lines, A2B, and the Danser Group as alternatives to road transport.
The Casablanca call will provide a direct link from Morocco to China, while Barcelona remains a hub for transshipment to the Panda Express Service toward East Asia. Tailwind confirmed that the Panda Express Service (China–Mediterranean) and the Tiger Express Service (Bangladesh, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka) will continue under their current schedules.
