Job-AGF specializes in purchasing fruit and vegetable lots that do not reach the supermarket

"It's still the old-fashioned handshake trade here"

"The fact that we exist, it's simply necessary," says Job van den Broek in the video below. From his base in Ridderkerk, Job runs Job-AGF, a company that specializes in buying up fruit and vegetable batches that don't make it to supermarket shelves.

"It's still good old-fashioned, hands-on trading here," he adds. And there's plenty of business to be done: "We move between 400 and 500 pallets of produce every week, that's about 20 truckloads."
