"We have brands like Orticole and Colella Lucia and our products include broccoli, cauliflower, turnip tops, Tuscan cabbage, pumpkins, asparagus, melons, and tomatoes. The vegetables are packaged in various formats, ranging from ready-to-eat trays to sustainable packaging for the large-scale retail trade sector."
He continues, "To me, leading a farm means combining both the head and the heart. You need vision. You also need consistency. You need to respect those who work with you. You also need the courage to stand up and take responsibility every single day."
Steady growth and tangible results
Thanks to its efficient management and excellent customer service, Plimsoll ranked the company as one of the top 974 most influential companies in Italy's agricultural sector, out of more than 300,000. The company cultivates around 400 hectares of fruit and vegetables, including its own land and that of various local suppliers.
