Peach prices in the European Union have shown a notable decrease in recent weeks, following a seasonal downward trend. In week 20 of 2025, average EU peach prices stood at €216 per 100 kg. This declined to €210 in week 21, before dropping further to €198 in week 22. Despite this recent 6% week-on-week decline, current prices remain significantly above the five-year average for the same period.

Compared to the same week in 2024, the week 22 price of €198 marks a 9.4% increase at the EU level. In Spain, which is the only country with available data for this period, prices also fell 6% from the previous week but remain 13% higher than the same week last year. This positions current EU and Spanish peach prices approximately 26% above their respective five-year averages.

The graph also reflects seasonal dynamics, with prices typically peaking in May before declining through July and August as supply increases. In both 2024 and 2025, early-season prices started high, with 2025 slightly above the 2024 trend in week 20, but now showing signs of aligning more closely with previous years.
