Thousands of professional visitors attended the 5th edition of Infoagro, held at the Aguadulce Conference Center, where they had the chance to learn about the latest products, innovations, and cutting-edge technology developed for the intensive agriculture sector.

The range of new varieties resistant to diseases and pests stood out among the extensive list of solutions for horticulture, as did plant nutrition solutions, especially biostimulants and crop activators with new protein sources, as well as crop protection solutions. Biotechnological development is one of the most powerful tools available to intensive horticulture today.

Crop management software and ERPs also featured prominently, as did machinery and automation solutions for greenhouses, including drones and electric transport solutions.

Battery-powered machinery, including scooters, forklifts, and battery-powered tractors, was in fact the most sustainable machinery option and among those that attracted the most interest.

Also worthy of note was the presence at the fair of large production cooperatives from the province, which are not only growing their own greenhouse vegetables but also taking part in multiple projects to help make all this technological development a reality, adapted to the sector's needs.
