A Market Orientation Mission to the Netherlands of Ukrainian companies in the (organic) frozen berry industry has been announced. The main products for this mission are strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants, and blueberries.
The mission will take place from Tuesday the 20th to Saturday the 24th of May and will include company visits and a visit to the PLMA in Amsterdam, on the 21st of May.
The Ukrainian berry industry is already an important supplier of the European market, and the Netherlands is one of its main customers. Here you can find a nice overview of this very professional sector, which continues to thrive in spite of the war.
The Ukrainian Berry Association will also be part of this mission. The association includes producers from various regions, including companies such as Artberry LLC, Blue Berry LLC, Family Garden LLC, Orniberry LLC, Berry Hills Farm, Tarasiv Obriy Farm, Green Farm, Grass Avenue Farm, Laski Farm, VIAN 2021 LLC, Agro Frutica Byshkiv LLC, Organic Garden LLC, Vitamin UA LLC, Zakhar-Sad Farm, Agromix Zakarpattia, and Nikdaria LLC, cultivating a combined total of 850 hectares of blueberries.
Besides meeting ten companies, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Ukrainian sector associations, such as the Ukrainian Berry Association, but also the Organic Initiative and the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office. The Mission is organized by Profound Advisers in Development and Mercadero in the Netherlands, on behalf of SIPPO (Switzerland) and UNIDO.
