Today, Arjan van 't Hoff marks a special milestone: 30 years in the industry.
Although his father, Geert, always advised, "Learn a trade, do NOT go into fruit and vegetables," on February 1, 1995, Arjan joined the family business, Hoffruit B.V.
Alongside a huge starting salary of 1,330 guilders gross, he also received a company car—a third-hand Nissan Micra with a giant penguin on the bonnet! No special treatment as the "boss's son"—he started from the bottom.
