From February 24th to March 3rd, 2024, the 60th edition of the Paris Agricultural Show will be held at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. For this 2024 edition, 3 days will be dedicated exclusively to professionals from the agricultural sector (SIA’PRO), from February 25th to 27th in pavilion 7.2 of the Parc des Expositions center. This new event is “aimed at farmers working in the animal and plant sectors,” in order to “meet the expectations of the sector’s professionals.”

The event will feature “a 250-seat plenary hall, where lectures and corporate events will be held for working sessions (symposiums, general meetings, congresses...) or 2-hour social events. In the 50-seat Agora, workshops will be held, and 30-minute keynotes for discussions on current agricultural issues and presentations of services and solutions. In the Experts' Alley, visitors will be offered practical information, on themed half-days.”
Stronger professional dimension
In recent years, there has been a “marked increase” in professional exchanges. Up to 40,000 visitors come to the Paris Agricultural Show for professional reasons, so the organizers have decided to offer a dedicated area. “More and more exhibitors are showcasing their BtoB offers, and many contracts are signed during the show,” according to Valérie Le Roy, director of the event.
“In 2023, meeting with institutions and professionals of the sector was a priority for more than a third of the exhibitors (exhibitor satisfaction survey carried out by the MRCC institute after the 2023 edition). This new event responds to market demand and the expectations of professionals looking for a special place and time to exchange ideas.”
