According to the State Customs Committee, during the first half of 2023, Azerbaijan exported 71,028 tons of potatoes worth $30,983 thousand.
Compared to the corresponding period in 2022, potato exports from the country decreased by 11.6% in value, or $4,076 thousand, and by 9.1% in quantity, or 7,128 tons.
In the first 6 months of 2022, Azerbaijan exported 78,156 tons of potatoes worth $35,059 thousand.
The export price of one ton of potatoes from January to June 2023 was $436, compared to $449 for the same period in 2022.
The average export price for fruits and vegetables has fallen by $12 or 2.8% in the last year.
