Weighted average prices for oranges in the EU stood at €105/100kg in June

Weighted average prices for oranges in the EU stood at €105/100kg in June, constituting a minimal drop in comparison to the month before. The prices in Greece came in at €68/100kg, Spain saw prices at €106/100kg, oranges cost €132 in Italy and €60 in Portugal.

Total orange imports in the EU came in at 86,996 tonnes in the same month. At around 3.600 tonnes, Spain remained the biggest orange producer.

Italy, Portugal and Greece were the other large orange producers.
