Imports of melon from China to the Amur Region of Russia have tripled compared to last year. Since the beginning of the year, 76 tons of these melon cultures have been brought in through the Kanikurgan checkpoint. The fruits from all deliveries passed quarantine control, and they can be purchased at roadside stalls, supermarkets, and local shops.
However, the number of watermelons imported from China decreased by 10% compared to the same period last year. The total amount imported was 316 tons.
