According to the North Caucasus Interregional Administration of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), the volume of sweet cherry imports from Armenia to Russia in June increased by 2.5 times and strawberry imports increased by 1.4 times compared to the same period in 2022.
Since the beginning of June alone, 772 tons of sweet cherries and 82 tons of strawberries have been imported into the Russian Federation from Armenia.
According to the department, since April 2023, 1.3 thousand tons of sweet cherries and 597 tons of strawberries have been imported from Armenia.
