On the 6th of September 2023, Barcelona, Spain, there will be business face to face meetings between fresh fruit and vegetables buyers of international large-scale retailers and production companies.
The event is organised by Fresh Food Leader (www.freshfoodleader.com) and is in line with market trends for fresh produce supply as the retailers tend to shorten their supply chain by going directly to the producers. Moreover, buyers from international chains of supermarkets attend these meetings mainly in order to meet their growing needs as their chains expand in the number of points of sales. The aim of Fresh Food Leader is to enhance direct relationships between retailers and producers and support both parties in developing their competitive advantage.
This is the sixth edition of B2B Meetings and the first one located in Spain. This is a day full of individual meetings. Fruit and vegetables buyers of large-scale Retailers will be provided with a meeting-desk where they will take appointments with participating producers and growing companies. The meetings take place in a productive business atmosphere, are short but concrete. The number of participants is limited so that one-to-one meetings among all the present producers and buyers can be guaranteed.
Buyers like this type of event, because it helps them to be more efficient. They are sat at their individual meeting-tables and wait for producers to come and present their offer, rather than going in search of them, like on a classical fair.
