Greek police seize 105 kilograms of cocaine hidden in banana shipment

On Tuesday, Greek authorities have arrested 10 people that were suspected of smuggling drugs from South America to Europe. Some 105 kilograms of cocaine were seized. The arrests made in coordination with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration took place in northern Greeceā€™s port city of Thessaloniki. The cocaine was hidden in a consignment of bananas from Ecuador that was headed for North Macedonia, police said in a statement.
