Participation of Brazilian producers aims to expand the market and conquer new countries

Abrafrutas participates in MacFrut

Starting today, the Brazilian Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruit and Derivatives (ABRAFRUTAS) will be present at MacFrut 2023. A leading fair for professionals working in the national and international fruit and vegetable sector. Held at the Rimini Expo Center, in Italy, from the 3rd to the 5th of May, this will be the 40th edition.

The participation of Brazilian exporting producers takes place through the Frutas do Brasil Project, an internationalization program of the Brazilian Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruit and Derivatives (ABRAFRUTAS), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

Macfrut is a vertical exhibition that represents the entire supply chain, with 9 sectors involved: Production and Trade, Machinery and Plants, Packaging, Agricultural Machinery, Greenhouses and Irrigation Systems, Seasonings and Herbs, Nurseries and Seeds, Biostimulants, Logistics and Services.

According to the organizers, it is a fair that represents the entire fruit and vegetable supply chain, combining specialized events and dynamic areas dedicated to innovation with a business exhibition.

For Abrafrutas, despite being an event focused on southern Europe and countries in North Africa that are close to Italy, the participation of Brazil will provide opportunities for new business with the Italian trade. The objective, according to the executive director, Eduardo Brandão, who will be at the event, is to take advantage of the opportunity to do new business and export even more Brazilian fruit, especially in winter, the off-season in Italy.
