The Italian fruit processing machinery manufacturer CTI FoodTech scales up by opening a new US facility in Lodi, California. This new addition adds to the already well-established facilities of Lorquì, Murcia (Spain) and Giannitsa (Greece), not far from the Thessaloniki harbor.
This new opening will provide a logistical and strategic outpost in the US aimed at continuing an ongoing development process, which received a boost from events such as Food Processing Expo, where CTI FoodTech exhibited with a customized booth on 14 and 15 February, 2023.
The new facility will be used mostly as an office to coordinate CTI FoodTech sales managers with local agents and as an after-market service to support customers during the processing season.
The Food Processing Expo provided a chance to introduce on the American market CTI FoodTech’s latest creation, the CTI-EPC pear corer, designed to single out each fruit and process it individually, by detecting its height, minimizing waste and maximizing yield. Visitors had a chance to appreciate the competitive features of the AP-1800 apricot pitter, and of the 320 ZPF peach pitter, which guarantees a fragment free final product while still keeping the highest speed for this kind of machine and an optimized need for manpower.
“The new facility represents a decisive step ahead for our company’s global leadership. Although our market is a niche, it needs continuous technical innovations to improve the efficiency and quality of fruit processing. A need we have been working hard to fulfill since we've been in business, by constantly investing in research and talent scouting,” says Biagio Crescenzo CTI FoodTech CEO.
“We always believed firmly in our potential on the American market and this new facility represents for us the best success we could expect to achieve from our marketing campaigns in the USA, as it will enable us to be much closer to the opportunities we plan to benefit from in the future,” states Alessandro Crescenzo, CTI FoodTech sales department head.
