Italy's Tecnocom will be present at Fruit Logistica at stand A12 in Hall 5.1

Pre-stressed poles are the foundation for a successful orchard

Climate change and increasingly intense weather events are forcing us to think carefully about the choice of pre-compressed concrete poles. Any new orchard, especially if it is high density, is an important investment and the protection must ensure durability, stability.

Tecnocom is an Italian company that produces technologies to build pre-compressed concrete poles. "These structures are designed to expand and resist even strong winds and snowfall. Our slogan is Orchards for life, by which we emphasize the long life of the plants built with these poles," said a representative of company.

High-density orchards, roofing, fencing, greenhouses - these are just a few of the applications where these poles are used.

"There is a high request for apple orchards with M9 rootstock, which are used for high-density plantings. These types of orchards require poles with very high resistance to wind and abrupt snowfalls, which are not so uncommon in spring in mountain areas. Prestressed concrete poles are used worldwide as part of the support structure due to their high strength, tension resistance and reasonable cost."

"With our high-tech tools and machinery, we fully control the production cycle. Our vision is to add value to our growers and customers by providing them with the latest technology, with continuous pre- and post-orchard implementation assistance. We will be at Fruit Logistica in hall 5.1 stand A12 to show all the details to our potential new customers".
