Innatis meets visitors at the International Agricultural Show (SIA) on the République des Pommes stand

For this 2022 edition of the International Agricultural Show, Innatis has spared no effort to showcase its apple varieties. "Visitors can come and meet us at our République des Pommes stand! We have set up a decor reminiscent of the town hall square with three mock walls, on which each apple is represented: Honey Crunch, Lolipop, and Choupette. Visitors are invited to taste all three. The idea is to make the consumer understand that although we offer a number of varieties of apples, they are all very good, with their own specificities in terms of texture, taste, and color. Then, once they have enjoyed the three apples in the tasting areas, they come back to the stand, which has three buzzers at their disposal, to vote for their favorite apple," explains Alice Gianola, who came to represent Innatis.

A very positive feedback
A moment of sharing and exchange, appreciated by all: "Visitors appreciate this little show and enjoy playing the game. People stop to take pictures of our stand and the reactions are very positive. They are often surprised to see how different our apples can be from each other. Many say they enjoy all three varieties but would eat each one at a different time of day. For the growers, this cute competition creates a fun atmosphere.

"Regarding production issues, we had very few questions about the use of phytosanitary products. We feel that the communication undertaken by Vergers Ecoresponsables over the last ten years is bearing fruit. Of course, the subject is discussed, but always in a very serene manner. People are looking for reassurance and this is what the show allows us to do."

An edition taking place in a light and friendly atmosphere
This light and friendly atmosphere allows visitors to escape for a while from the current gloomy climate: "People are here to have a good time, to feel like they are somewhere else and immersed in a world that allows them to get away from their daily lives. They're walking around with their families. You don't feel any stress from the current political climate. However, I find that the attendance is lower than it was two years ago. Obviously, Covid-19 is still on people's minds. In the morning, we start to have people in the Culture and Filière hall around 10:30 am until 5:30-6:30 pm. Visitors usually prefer to go through the animal stand first because they know that later on there will be more people.

On Thursday, the Zingy apple, the latest addition to the Innatis range, will be presented like the Apple of the Day at the ANPP stand.

To discover the Honey Crunch, Lolipop, and Choupette, visit Pavilion 2.2 Stand DO31 - stand of the République des Pommes.
