The Corsican clementine harvest started a few days ago

Each year, more than 28,000 tons of fruit are harvested within three months. And the 2021 campaign looks promising.

"The fruit has received sunshine and not too much water. It's a clementine that is juicy, sour and has color. It's a bit like the sunshine of winter. It is picked, packaged, shipped this evening and will be on the shelves Saturday morning. We want the consumer to enjoy a fruit that has the same taste as if it were consumed in our orchards and on the trees," explains Pierre-Paul Monteil, citrus grower.

The Corsican clementine, benefiting from a PGI and recognizable by its two leaves and its green tail will be available until the end of the year.
