Kaufland launches internet platform in Poland to cooperate with local suppliers

The Kaufland network has been cooperating with local suppliers for years, allowing customers to find products from given regions on the store shelves. With the idea of expanding the range with new articles and offering development opportunities to other producers, Kaufland is launching a special internet platform. Thanks to this, individual local producers will be able to easily contact the network, list their products and initiate cooperation.

The "Regional Kaufland" project is primarily a chance for local companies to develop by reaching a wider audience. Guided by the purchasing logic of customers, the network divided the country into the following regions - Mazowsze, Pomorze and Kaszuby, Warmia and Mazury, Kujawy, Podlasie, Lesser Poland, Greater Poland, Upper and Lower Silesia. Since May 21, suppliers from given areas may submit and describe their products by creating a free account at www.regionalnykaufland.pl. The application will be forwarded to the appropriate Kaufland department and will be thoroughly analyzed.

"Customers are eager to buy local products, because they know that they deliver great quality and allow you to prepare traditional recipes. Thanks to the "Regional Kaufland" initiative, visitors to our stores will have access to new products, and producers and suppliers will have the opportunity to increase sales and attract more dedicated consumers," said Maja Szewczyk, director of Corporate Communication Department at Kaufland Polska.
