82,551 operators attended - 21% foreigners from 143 countries with 12 new entries (from Central America, the Middle East and North Africa) - to meet the 3,079 Italian and international exhibitors. Most foreign visitors came from the US, Spain, France, Germany, UK, China, Canada, Benelux, Japan and the Russian Federation.

A few exhibitors lamented a drop in the number of visitors and the fact that Macfrut was organized during the same days.

Ready-to-eat products are still growing, nuts have become very important within a healthy lifestyle and the popularity of organic food is increasing as well as that of exotic dishes. Superfood snacks are also doing very well.

Operators suffering from the consequences of abnormal weather are not doing so well - some of them are even losing their entire production.

As usual, FreshPlaza has created a photo gallery for all those who could not attend the event as well as for those who did not manage to visit the entire fair.

The eighth edition of TuttoFood will be held in Milan on 17th-20th May 2021.
