The Russian phytosanitary inspection service Rosselkhoznadzor is warning Serbian exporters of the risks of imports from Serbia due to the contagions that have been found on some products.

The Oriental moth was found in a total 12 transports of nectarines, plums and peaches during inspection in August and September. In an explanation, the Russian service stated that measures may follow. The Serbian fruit is being put under a magnifying glass for now, if there are more exceedances, measures could follow. The total export of Serbian fruit and vegetables increased by 5.8% compared to last year to 503 million dollars in the first seven months of this year.
