According to Geostat, Georgia imported 1,577 tons of strawberries worth $2.05 million in the first seven months of 2025, a 45% drop compared to 2,888 tons ($4.04 million) in the same period last year. The average import price also edged down from $1.40/kg in 2024 to $1.30/kg in 2025.
Turkey remained the dominant supplier, accounting for 97% of imports (1,530 tons), followed by Azerbaijan (29 tons) and Greece (18 tons).
On the export side, Georgia shipped 127 tons of strawberries, mainly to Armenia (113 tons) and Kazakhstan (14 tons), down 7.9% year-on-year.
