From January to July 2025, Uzbekistan exported 1.3 million tonnes of fruit and vegetable products, worth over $1.066 billion, according to the National Statistics Agency.
Compared to the same period in 2024, export volumes rose by 5.2%(62,900 tonnes), while the value increased by 35.2%.
The main export items included dried grapes, onions, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, cherries, apricots, mung beans, and other fresh and processed produce.
Government projections suggest that by the end of 2025, Uzbekistan's fruit and vegetable exports could reach $3.5 billion. This outlook was discussed during a video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, focused on measures to expand production, processing, and exports in the sector.
