Between January and April 2025, Uzbekistan exported 22,000 tonnes of carrots worth $4.1 million, marking a 60% drop in volume compared to the same period last year, according to the country's National Statistics Committee.
The average export price also fell, from $213 per tonne in early 2024 to $186 per tonne in 2025.
Kyrgyzstan remained the largest buyer, accounting for over half of all carrot exports. Kazakhstan followed with 6,000 tonnes, while Russia imported 4,300 tonnes. Smaller volumes were shipped to Ukraine, Tajikistan, and other neighboring countries.
