According to the General Administration of Customs of China, imports in April 2025 fell 2.3 times year-on-year, totaling 538 tonnes, compared to 1,241 tonnes in April 2024.
Overall, during January–April 2025, Kyrgyzstan imported 2,201 tonnes of bananas from China, a 39.6% decrease compared to 3,587 tonnes during the same period in 2024.
Average banana prices ranged from $1.4 to $1.8 per kilogram.
