Ukrainian company SP "PAEK" is planning to export fruit and vegetable products under its own brand "Smakota" to European countries, the company's press service reports.
"Recently, representatives of the company, Asya Pityurenko and Haina Tretyak, paid a working visit to the Republic of Cyprus, where agreements were reached with partners regarding the export of vegetable products to European countries," the statement said.
It is noted that in 2023, the company "PAEK" started a new direction for itself - processing vegetable products.
"The own trademark 'Smakota' has been registered under which the implementation of fruit and vegetable products will take place both in Ukraine and beyond its borders," the company specifies.
"PAEK," which previously specialized in growing cereals and technical crops, began growing vegetables two years ago. In 2023, a greenhouse complex was built for growing seedlings and greenhouse vegetables such as radishes, cucumbers, and tomatoes. This year, the company allocated about 2000 hectares of land for growing vegetables in open ground.
Already in 2023, the volumes of the grown products required additional capacity for storing vegetables in refrigerators. Agreements have been reached to rent a refrigerator with a capacity for simultaneous storage of fruit and vegetable products up to 5000 tons.
The company aims to gradually provide storage of fruit and vegetable products with a total volume of up to 10,000 tons.
