The import of tomatoes to the Southern Urals through the customs in the Chelyabinsk region has decreased by one and a half times over the past year, as reported by the press service of the Chelyabinsk Customs.
This year, the import of edible root crops (carrots, turnips, beets, radishes) has increased eightfold.
Among imported products, onions and garlic have emerged as leaders, with deliveries increasing by 41 times, according to the press service. Cabbage deliveries were growing sixfold.
The dynamics in import patterns reflect changing consumer preferences in the Southern Urals.
