All 15 Nashik APMCs resume onion auctions

On Monday, onion auctions resumed at all the 15 markets in Nashik, including the country's largest onion wholesale market at Lasalgaon. They reopened following a 12-day Diwali break.

The arrival of new kharif onion also began at the Lasalgaon APMC on Monday. Roughly 1,100 tons of onions were auctioned at the Lasalgaon mandi on Monday, including 60 tons of fresh kharif onions. The remaining stock comprised old summer onions.
