UMS and fruit entrepreneurs collaborate to improve Sabah agriculture

The Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture (FPL), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and Sabah Durian and Tropical Fruit Entrepreneurs (MaSDa) have signed a letter of intent to establish cooperation, aiming to improve agriculture in the state.

According to the Dean of FPL Prof Dr Azwan Awang, the collaboration is expected to bring benefits to FPL students through fieldwork activities and industrial training at MaSDa member farms. Through the collaboration, both parties will benefit from the results of research projects that will be conducted jointly.
