The Yunnan green food brand news conference "Ecological, Safe, Yunnan Vegetables" took place in Kunming on December 11th, 2018. Nearly 70% of the vegetable products from Yunnan are sold in more than 150 cities in China as well as more than 40 foreign countries.
The weather in Yunnan is diverse and the natural environment outstanding. The market has a year-round supply of seasonal vegetables. The vegetable industry has reached an optimum structure after years of effort, and brands grow more prominent every day. The highlands of Yunnan produce characteristic agricultural products. The overall surface area devoted to vegetable plantation in Yunnan reached 1 million hectares in 2017 with an annual production volume of 20 million tons. The agricultural industry in Yunnan was worth 44.67 billion yuan [6.49 billion USD] in 2017.
