China to Quadruple GDP by 2020
China will manage to quadruple the 2000 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita by 2020, expressed Chinese leader Hu Jintao. While reading the main report of the 16th Congress of China Communist Party, the general secretary of the organization said that by achieving that goal the nation will have managed to build a modestly well-off family.
That goal was planned by the previous five-year meeting of Chinese communists, held in 2002. The text emphasizes that there will be progress in the form of development to raise profitability, reduce consumer expenses and preserve the environment..
The Chinese party, with already 73 million members, is working on speeding up the development of profitable social activities to improve the living conditions of the people and increase jobs.
