Mexico: Counties declared fruit fly free
Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food, has declared some Nueveo Leon Counties fruit fly free.
The announcement relates to some 16ha of land under apple cultivation, with an estimated harvest potential of around 32 metric tonnes and 293ha under peach cultivation, with a harvest value somewhere in the region of 197 metric tonnes.
