Vegetable caramel waffle wins award

Chloé Rutzerveld from Eindhoven has won a prize with her project Strooop! With her caramel waffles made completely from vegetables, she was popular among the judges: she was announced as the winner of the segment 'Creators' of the Jonge 100 of 2016. The waffles are made of beets, celeriac and carrots. The caramel is made from the vegetable juice. The contest was organised by the youth platform Ondertussen.nl.
