Pear prices grow in Ukraine

According to Fruit-Inform price monitoring, wholesale prices of pears grew by 4% week-on-week in Kiev and Simferopol (Southern region) and averaged UAH 25/kg (EUR 2.34/kg). A year earlier, prices in Kiev were 15-20% lower, and pears in Simferopol were 60% less expensive.

Pear prices in Lviv (western region) did not change year-on-year: UAH 18/kg (EUR 1.69/kg).

As regards Donetsk (Eastern region), current pear prices are 5% higher compared with the same period of the previous season: UAH 20/kg (EUR 1.89/kg).
