Plague of locusts ravaging south of Israel
The south of the country is plagued by locusts, the area on the border with Egypt. Such a plague is an annual occurrence. Potato and to a lesser extent, herb companies are affected.
The growers fight the locusts with a strong spray. The drawback is that then customers opt for growers from the north of the country.
