According to data collected from Ismea, the 7th week of 2013 has ended with a slight increase in cauliflower prices. The main increase has been registered in the Puglia and Lazio regions, where rainfall and frost caused inflorescences to rot.
The limited quantities have been sold easily thanks to consumer demand, and negotiations have ended on the basis of upward prices.
There were no substantial variations in the other areas, both regarding quantities as well as prices. The European market is also stable.
