ITE-Moscow organised the event which was well attended by the fresh produce industry with exhibitors and visitors from countries such as Egypt, USA, Argentina, Pakistan, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Russia and a lot more.

The Chilean Fresh Fruit Association was the major sponsor of the "Fruit and Vegetable sector" with the main objective of promoting more Chilean products globally.

According to Aynur Meric, senior event coordinator of ITE, "The fruit and vegetable section is the most important pavilion in WFM and this year, more exhibitors registered compared to last year. And what is so good about it, is the interest of those participating the event- both visitors and exhibitors, despite the fact that it is not easy to apply for a visa to entering Russia, the number of participants is steadily increasing every year."

In the Fruit and Vegetable sector, two important conferences were held during the event. The Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia and the Citrus Fruit Market in Russia.

Both conferences were attended by well respected key speakers such as Mischa Fok, European coordinator of the Chilean Fresh Fruit Association; Anton Kruger, CEO Fresh Produce Exporterss Forum (FPEFF)- South Africa and Irina Koziy, General Director of RK Marketing for the Citrus Fruit Market in Russia.

The World Food Moscow is truly an important event for the fresh produce sector to connect and meet suppliers and buyers from around the globe. It provides an opportunity to strengthen business relationship and of course, to meet potential clients.
