Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports should reach over $4 billion this year thanks to average growth reaching over 14%. According to the Department of Import-Export at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, fruit and vegetable exports in the first 8 months of 2018 have already reached $2.7 billion.
China is still the main fruit and vegetable importer with an almost $2 billion turnover, up 11.6% compared to the same time the previous year. They are followed by the USA, Thailand and Australia. Vietnamese fruit and vegetables can be found in 60 countries and they aim to reach $10 billion in the near future.
