The Dominican Republic is one of the few countries in the world that covers more than 85% of its food demand with its agricultural production, according to a press release from the Dominican Embassy in Russia.
Jose Manuel Castillo Betances, the ambassador to the Russian Federation, said that the Dominican mango and the Creole avocado were asked to conquer the great Russian market because of their high quality and exceptional fragrance.
According to Castillo Betances, the mango is one of the most popular fruits in the world because it is very delicious and juicy.
The ambassador stated that the Dominican Republic had a prodigious land, capable of producing agricultural fruits with all the nutrients, minerals, and proteins required by humans to have a good health.
