According to the Thai World Daily, the Trade Policy and Strategy Office of Thai commerce ministry unveiled its statistics lately: the export value of Thailand's products exported to China in April has already reached 18.94 billion dollars, leaping 12.34 percent on those of last year. Among which, the value of durians took up 20 million dollars. Nearly 60 thousand tons of durians were exported to China. The volume rose 700 percent.
As statistics show, in April alone, Thailand had exported 120.000 tons of durians (market value nearly 20 million dollars), of which 56,000 tons went to China. The volume is 7 times higher compared to that of last April.
