Jiuye Supply Chain

"Chinese mainland is a target market for Thai coconuts"

The maturation period of green coconuts is shorter than for brown coconuts, and the coconut water tastes fresher and sweeter. The young coconut is one of Thailand's four most prized fruits, together with durians, longans, and mangosteens. While Hainan coconut trees bear fruit 2-3 times a year, the Thai coconut tree can bear fruit as many as 18-21 times a year. The peak production season begins in October and ends in February of the subsequent year. The high season of coconut retail is from March until September, when supply is relatively high.

The exceptional coconut industry in Thailand reached a superior position through a long history of coconut production based on fertile soil and excellent weather conditions. Thai coconuts entered the Chinese market in 2012 and quickly conquered the hearts of consumers with high-quality coconuts. Their market share has grown every year, and their price is significantly higher than last year. Currently, about 70-80% of Thai coconuts are destined for the Chinese market.
