"Seeking export opportunities"

"China: "Stable growth of Pujiang Jufeng production volumes"

"Jufeng grapes are a mid-season variety, and a hybrid of European and American varieties that were originally produced in Japan. The variety was introduced in China in 1959 and subsequently spread throughout the country. This variety is sparkling, the sugar content is high, and the taste has an agreeable sweetness. These characteristics have made this a popular variety.

Pujiang County in Zhejiang is the 'hometown of Jufeng grapes'. There is an overall surface area of 4,667 hectares devoted to Jufeng vineyards in Pujiang County, which accounts for more than 90% of all Jufeng vineyards. The Jufeng grapes from Pujiang production areas are the sweetest and are famous for this." This is according to Mr. Jiang Hongbo of Zhejiang Province Pujiang County Xiao Qing Family Farm.

"Our plantation is the first vineyard in Jiangnan. We grow Jufeng grapes in large greenhouses in Pujiang County. We have an annual supply season that starts around July 15th and ends in early September. Since the Jufeng grapes receive a warm welcome on the market, fruit farmers have gradually increased the surface area devoted to vineyards to satisfy the growing demand of consumers. The production volume this year is larger than last year and the market price is expected to remain stable."

"We currently sell Jufeng grapes predominantly through traditional retail methods and e-commerce platforms. They are sold in wholesale markets, supermarkets, and through traders in first and second tier cities. While we continue to steadily develop our current market share, we also hope to cooperate with overseas importers and domestic exporters in the future to bring Jufeng grapes from Pujiang to overseas markets and give consumers there the opportunity to taste Jufeng grapes."
