The Sanya Fenghuang International Airport (hereafter "Sanya Airport") recently opened a "green passage" when Beijing Capital Airlines JD5578 carried the first air freight of Sanya lychee in 2018. The plane landed smoothly at Beijing International Airport and delivered the fresh taste of lychees to Beijing where it was only 10 degrees Celsius. This marked the beginning of the "lychee season" of 2018.
Sanya Airport freight companies are currently working hard to develop a platform that combines "fruit farmers + internet + international distribution". This will help Hainan fruit farmers to "fly abroad" and sell their products in overseas markets.
