Swiss postmen now also deliver fruit and vegetables

As fewer and fewer letters are sent and Swiss Post would like to keep employing its employees, they are now being used elsewhere. In recent years, the company has already had to cut 4,500 jobs. For the remaining 12,000 postmen and women, new employment opportunities are being sought.

It is now set to introduce other services and have the employees deliver, for example, vegetables, fruits, bread and eggs, which are provided to the farmers at the post office.
