Whilst Iran already imports Vietnamese products such as peppers and coffee, they will soon be importing bananas, mangoes and ginger. Thanks to Iran importing more foreign products, Vietnam hopes to export more products including pineapples, coconuts, dragon fruit and lychees. The Vietnamese Ambassador in Iran recently helped a Vietnamese county negotiate the export of a first load of bananas to Iran. Iran mainly buys bananas from the Philippines, but hopes to diversify their supply.
