Over an area of more than 25,000 square meters, people can visit the 22nd edition of expoSE, Europe's leading trade fair for producers of asparagus and berries, and the 7th edition of expoDirekt, Germany's largest trade fair for direct agricultural marketing,
"Above all, we owe this new record to the excellent development of expoDirekt. With 104 exhibitors, the trade fair is in the three-digit range for the first time. This shows that direct marketing strategies and creative ideas for implementation are still a big topic in the industry,” said Simon Schumacher, CEO of the Association of Southern German Asparagus and Strawberry Growers and organizer of the exhibition combo.
At the expoDirekt, for example, visitors can see the presentations by online marketing platform Lemilo, farm marketing website eierschachteln.de, and the top-quality sauces and dips of the regional producers of Compass Deutschland. Furthermore, Tosin David Services will present a sales representative training package for direct marketing. Amongst the recent innovations are Sauerwein’s digital weight data acquisition system, goods and navigation system FruitOne from Gerd Thom, as well as the convenient small quantities packaging solutions from SOFRUPAK.
Innovative solutions for both the challenges of asparagus and berry production and direct marketing
On November 22nd, following the opening at 10 o'clock, those innovations that have a prospect of market penetration and have clear benefits for their users, will be awarded the "Best of 2017" expoSE and expoDirekt Innovation Award at the Forum in Hall 2. At the Direct Marketing Forum (Thursday, November 23, 1:00 pm, forum in hall 2), the winners of the "Market Farm of the Year Award” will be announced.

Special events such as the 29th Asparagus Day, the Berry Symposium and the Direct Marketing Forum convey current insights into the production of asparagus and berries as well as agricultural direct marketing.
