Yellow Iridium® on a kiwi orchard
The Iridium® technology was developed thanks to studies conducted in collaboration with both Italian institutions such as Università delle Marche and international ones such as IRTA.
A detail of an Iridium® net
From composition and the high-density polyethylene material used to thread diameter - nothing is left to chance to guarantee the best performances in terms of light selection, longevity and resistance to deformity
In the photo: nets withstanding the weight of hail
Recent hailstorms have truly tested the nets and confirmed the technical data we already had. A clear answer to those who still had doubts.
Whether it be apples, golden kiwis, peaches, citrus fruit, table grapes or apricots, the result is the same, the right colour just needs to be chosen. These nets guarantee uniform colouring, improved photosynthesis performances (carbon fixation) and higher dry matter concentrations (in golden kiwis). And better quality leads to higher commercial value, all of which supported by technical data and quantifiable results.

Iridium® applications have already increased a lot since 2009 (the first year with significant data) and skyrocketed in 2015 reaching 3 million m2. The objective for 2017* is to do better, as crops covered are already 2 millions and a half m2 (September data).
