China: 280 million yuan for cold chain logistics project in Xinjiang

On February 21st, the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps held a signing ceremony with the Xinjiang Ding Hong International Cold Chain Logistics Co. Ltd. At the ceremony, representatives of the two sides signed an agreement, whereby 280 million yuan would be invested in a new cold chain logistics project.

The project will be in three phases: the purchase of 100 new low energy vehicles, 150 dedicated trailers and 150 independently powered cold chain containers; the building of one new garage and, lastly, two 5000-cubic metre cold storage units and 25 thousand square meters of parking spaces. The project is expected to achieve an annual output valued at 500 million yuan and an annual profit of 60 million yuan.
