The Belgian logistical service provider Andiprim has taken over various other logistics companies in recent years. Manager Dirk Smets indicates that after the take-over of Adritrans in 2013, three more take-overs followed. “It concerns DAV trans, Daans from Putte and Vervoer Gunther Huyssens. By now, the fleet consists of 40 combinations. We also expanded by attracting new customers from the fresh produce sector.”
New generation Scania
The company recently invested in new trailers and semitrailers. “By now, the new generation of Scania have been taken into use, and they are working satisfactorily,” according to Dirk. “We are feeling positive about the future. In the coming years we want to further innovate and become the largest logistics service provider with the best customer satisfaction in the Belgian fresh produce sector. The take-overs have been completed. Because of that, we are getting more and more work, but we are happy to do it!”
Founded in 1995
Andiprim is part of Group A. de Witte. Most of the transport takes place in Belgium. The logistics service provider has been located in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Belgium, since 2011. Andiprim transports fruit and vegetables under controlled temperatures. The company was founded in 1995 as a greengrocer’s in Putte. In 1998, the shop was expanded to a wholesaler’s for fruit and vegetables on the wholesaler’s market of Antwerp. In 1999, the first lorry and trailer were bought.
